My Urban Oasis

Nestled just minutes from Perth’s bustling city centre, Victoria Park offers the perfect blend of urban convenience and suburban tranquillity. Here are some of the reasons why I adore living in this wonderful suburb:

Diverse Food Scene

Victoria Park is renowned for its bustling Albany Highway, lined with cafes, restaurants, and bars offering culinary delights from around the world. Some of my favourites include:

  • Social Manna: My go-to spot for a perfectly brewed coffee and a relaxing start to the day.

  • Neho: The place I head to when I crave inventive fusion Asian cuisine.

  • Kuza: For an exceptional Japanese dining experience that never disappoints.

Beautiful Parks and Stunning Views

One of my favourite weekend activities is spending time at McCallum Park, known as “Miam Miam” in Noongar. The stunning views of the Swan River, or “Derbarl Yerrigan” as it is traditionally called, are simply breathtaking and provide a perfect backdrop for a relaxing day out.

Strong Community Spirit

Victoria Park boasts a vibrant community spirit that makes it feel like a close-knit family. The suburb’s events and markets create a welcoming atmosphere. Highlights include:

  • Weekly Farmers Market: I love connecting with neighbours and supporting local vendors at this lively market.

Excellent Education Options

As someone who values education, I appreciate the excellent options available in Victoria Park, including:

  • Victoria Park Primary School

  • Ursula Frayne Catholic College

  • Proximity to Curtin University

Diverse Housing Options

Victoria Park offers a range of housing options that cater to various lifestyles. For instance, the average rental price for a 3-bedroom house is around $650 per week, making it an affordable and attractive place to live.

Ideal for All Lifestyles

Whether you’re a young professional, a family, or a retiree, Victoria Park has something to offer everyone. With its convenient amenities and welcoming community, it’s an ideal location for anyone considering a Perth relocation.
